CLAIR HELEN
DESIGNER - AARLI X CLAIR
Clair works with Aboriginal Tiwi fabrics that are hand-made from a local Tiwi women’s group of artists and designers called Bima Wear located in Wurrumiyanga, on Bathurst Island in the Northern Territory (NT). Clair drapes the fabric and improvises the silhouettes through the position of the prints, adding yarn embroidery to creating her own signature style. She wants to empower Indigenous communities through ethical sourcing of materials for fashion.

SCREEN PRINTING TECHNIQUES
Screen printing is a classic, and lasting, way to do t-shirt printing. It’s the most popular and often the most economical way to embellish your tees. To create a screen printed t-shirt, OCC breaks each colour of your design into individual screens. Then overlay each individual screen over your garment to lay that ink colour. Each design is completed. OCC screen printing can use any combination of colours with any colour t-shirt. OCC prints across all mediums and will complete your garments with efficient turnaround times.
